AM&T,
Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement.
I had a freak accident friday and broke 3 bones in each foot and also have torn ligaments.
I won't able to walk for at least 3 months.
I'm very thankful to God, as I believe this was a wake up call for me to SLOW DOWN.
Thank you to the receptionist at Don Brotherton's office who stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. She was so calming.
Thank you to Dr. Goss, Kristie Winningham, my entire family (Aaron, Mom, Papa, Christie & Peanut), Blake and Tina for being there with me. They moved up my surgery last night by two hours, and Blake stayed by my side until my family could arrive. I will never forget that. Thank you, Marion for offering to drop everything to come down here this weekend.
Thank you Blake, Amber, Kate and TINA for making sure the photo shoots were a success this weekend. The pictures are great!
Thank you to my incredible husband, Aaron. I am not sure why God thought I was so deserving of him, but I sure am one lucky girl. After being released from SGMC, I will move in with my mom. She is going to take excellent care of me, and I am so blessed to have her be able to do this!
I'm beyond shocked right now. I truly understand how important FAMILY & FRIENDS are because they're all working as a team to take care of me, and help w/Kaileigh.
I will be in SGMC until Wednesday or Thursday. I'm blessed with the best "kids" in the world so AM&T will go on "business as usual". I will be available by phone, text and email. All events will go on as scheduled, and hopefully I will be able to be at Miss Candyland and Peace, Love & Runway...in my fancy scooter!
If you want to see an example of what happened, go to www.youtube.com and type in "Walk it Out Model Falling". This is exactly what happened to me Friday, in 3" heels, in a parking lot. I was having the best day ever too. I met Mom and Amber to look at our hopefully new building, my hair looked great...I was dressed really cute...and then I bit the dirt! :)
Again, thank you for your prayers. They are much appreciated right now!
Love,
Amanda
