RECITAL FEES are NOW LATE! Every model/actor must pay the $35 Recital Fee to be included in the show. Currently, only 17 have paid their Recital Fees. There is a convenient PAY BUTTON on our website under Payments at www.amandasmodels.com. This Recital Fee applies to EVERYONE. No one is exempted from paying this fee. It is expensive to produce this show and this is a small fee compared to dance recital fees, Nutcracker fees, Costume fees, etc. DECEMBER TUITION is NOW LATE! For those of you who are new to AM&T, our event on December 18th is not a little recital, nor is it a play.  It is a GRAND PERFORMANCE.  The event was almost sold out last year.  Each year, it is better than the year before.  It is an opportunity for our models and actors, singers and dancers to shine like the stars they are.  Each year, we have a theme.  This year, the theme is the movies of the 1980's.  We are encouraging the audience to dress the part as well. Every model will wear an outfit of choice and model the runway after introducing themselves.  We will present a slide show of this year's events.  Then, we will begin the presentation. This is the first year we have incorporated skits into the presentation.  Each group class is performing a skit from the movie, and then a modeling and dance routine.  We incorporate dance and singing as a way to build self-confidence and expressions on stage.  We invite agents as our guests each year.  This is a really BIG event, and it is the most important event to me as the owner of AM&T.  Thanks!! CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY FASHION LAYOUT TOMORROW, MONDAY NOVEMBER 22nd

CHRISTMAS FASHION LAYOUT for the VALDOSTA DAILY TIMES

The Valdosta Daily Times has asked us to shoot the Christmas Fashion Layout on Monday so it will run in this Sunday's newspaper.

If you are available, please reply to this email ASAP with your current clothing sizes.

Only CURRENT AM&T MODELS & ACTORS are permitted to model in the Layout.

All Teen and Tween Models will need to have their hair curled, light makeup, zero eye liner, and dressy prom type shoes.

All Children will need to have their hair fixed, light makeup, zero eye liner, and bring a bag of shoes, tights, leggings, accessories.

Everyone will need to be at AM&T between 3:45pm and 4pm tomorrow, on MONDAY NOVEMBER 22nd.
We will get dressed at the studio and then travel downtown for the pictures. After the pictures, we will then travel back to the studio where you will carefully hang back up each piece of clothing, get it checked back in by Miss Amber, and then leave.

No food or drink is permitted in the studio tomorrow or while wearing the clothes.

If your child has been running a fever, please do not reply to this email and please do not attend tomorrow. I am currently in the hospital with Pneumonia. Both Pneumonia and the Flu are now going around Valdosta. We all need to stay well! Busy weeks are ahead for AM&T.

Congratulations to all of the Models & Actors who participated in the Halloween/Fall Festival Costume Fashion Show at the Valdosta Mall today!

You all were FABULOUS!! I am SO proud!! It was so much FUN!!

We have been asked to do the very same Fashion Show again in a few weeks. Details to follow.

Let's all remember a few rules for Fashion Shows since we have three scheduled between now and the end of the year:

• Only one parent and the model/actor are permitted backstage. Please do not bring siblings, guests, etc. backstage. Most of our models/actors leave their valuables in the dressing room during the show and we need these items protected, as well as the clothes from the stores. At the Back to School Fashion Show, I had $50 cash stolen from Kaileigh's Model's Bag. If we see additional people backstage, we will ask your guests to leave.
  
• If you are late, you will not model. It is just too difficult to stop everything to make arrangements for those who decide to arrive 15 minutes before show time.
  
• Food and Drink are NOT permitted while you are wearing the clothes you are going to model. Food is not permitted in the dressing room period.
  
• Gum is NEVER permitted at any AM&T functions.
  
• We often have parents (AM&T's Angels) helping with our events. Please respect them as you would Amber and me.
  

Keep up the great work!! You all make AM&T is the PLACE to BE!!!

AM&T HALLOWEEN COSTUME & OUTFITS FASHION SHOW SATURDAY, September 25th @ 2pm VALDOSTA MALL Hello! Good Evening Everyone!! Please mark your calendars for THIS Saturday, September 25th at 2pm. We have been invited to produce and direct a Halloween Themed Fashion Show at the Valdosta Mall. We will have a Rehearsal at 9:30am Center Court of the Valdosta Mall. If you have been in at least two fashion shows, you do not have to attend the Rehearsal. If you have been in one fashion show or if this is your first, Rehearsal is Mandatory. Please make sure you bring your shoe bag to the Rehearsal. The Fashion Show begins at 2pm. Everyone will need to return to the dressing room by 1:00pm to get ready for the show. If you are receiving this email, you are invited to model in the show. We need our actors too! This is a theatrical fashion show. We want you all to act the parts you are playing. It will be SUPER FUN!! Thank you all for your prayers, your texts, your emails, thank you for attending Visitation and the Funeral. Thank you, Nathan Guess for being a Pall Bearer. The passing of my Aunt Debbie has been very difficult this week. She was more like my second mother than just my Aunt. Hello! Congratulations to everyone who attended the Open Call on Friday night and to everyone who attended the Jayme Pervis Workshop on Saturday morning and to everyone who attended the Barry Shapiro Workshop on Saturday afternoon. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Smoke n' Pig BBQ Fundraiser to earn money to attend this weekend's workshops. I am SO proud of you all!! You proved that if you want something for your child, you will make it happen. It was the easiest fundraiser we have ever produced. Elizabeth Steedley sold 86 plates and Amy Booth sold more than 70 (I cannot remember the exact number but I do know 60 were for Delivery!). Most everyone else sold between 20 and 50!! YOU ALL ROCK! I want to thank you all for your support. Jayme and Barry coming to our agency was a really big deal to AM&T. To have 54 people attend the Open Call and to have 28 in both workshops on Saturday speaks volumes for our agency. It shows that you are serious about your child's potential in this industry and you are serious about increasing their self-confidence in every way possible. It showed you support our agency and that means everything to Jayme. As you heard her say....if you do not support us, she won't support you! Love Jayme!! :) I have her notes and will be sending those out beginning tomorrow. Amber and I hope to bring in more agencies from major markets for Open Calls such as CFT in Orlando, Karen Greer Agency in Miami, Elite/Factor in Atlanta. We want you all to have every single opportunity to succeed. We are also going to attend The Arts Convention in June. We will be doing several Smoke n' Pig Fundraisers, as well as The Mother Daughter Tea in May to help everyone who wants to attend....attend. I was beyond proud that are pictures are not only approved, but LOVED by J Pervis Talent. We are back to shooting on Sundays again. It is amazing to me that our special lighting is God's lighting in our studio garage. Be sure to come in to the runway room this week to see the pictures on the wall! WAY TO GO BEN!!!

Benjamin just booked two commercials in the last month & shot one today for the AE Madden video game. I've been thinking about you, as I always do when he has any type of success.

He's literally at 98% call back since Jan 1 & has been on hold for testing for 5 pilots, never quite making it to testing. So our faith is strong that it's just a matter of time and we try to enjoy the process, crazy as it is We agree not to try to make "sense" out of "nonsense" or we'd drive ourselves crazy. You can't apply common logic to any of this :)

He is thriving here in every way and he knows this is the place for him. He told me recently-if you're going to do this you can never doubt yourself- it's a process and you just have to stick with it. One day it will be the right time for me.

Thanks for all your prayers, support, and for encouraging him to follow his dreams. I think about both of you often and how you've blessed our family so much! Had we not met you none of this would be possible.

Our Broadway campers will be exposed to the triple-threat experiences of the musical including ACTING, SINGING and DANCING...all taught within a one-week camp.

Lights, Camera, Action...Broadway Camp..will introduce young people to the world of life on-stage and behind the scenes. Training in acting, scene study, improvisation, solo and ensemble singing, movement and dance make up the class work.

If your child has ever dreamed of being on Broadway one day or just enjoys being the center of attention and the joy of being on stage or needs to boost their self-confidence, this camp is for your child!!

The 20- hour camp also includes a photo shoot, and each participant will receive a disc to print their own headshot. Campers will learn scenes from "MARY POPPINS" and a "BROADWAY MEDLEY". The week will end with a group performance for parents and friends. All campers will also receive a TShirt to remember their Broadway Camp of Dreams experience!

This is a perfect RESUME BUILDER and is OPEN to EVERYONE!

Join us JULY 12th through JULY 16th from 8:30am to 12:30pm each day. Early Drop-Off is available beginning at 8:00am. Each STAR will need to bring his/her own snack each day.

If your child has ever dreamed of being on Broadway one day or just enjoys being the center of attention and the joy of being on stage or needs to boost their self-confidence, this camp is for your child!!

The 17-1/2 hour camp also includes a photo shoot, and each participant will receive a disc to print their own headshot. Campers will learn scenes from "Sound of Music" and "FAME". The week will end with a group performance for parents and friends. All campers will also receive a TShirt to remember their Broadway Camp of Dreams experience!

Ugh! This rain is horrible!

The ground is going to be too wet to shoot even if it does stop raining between 1 and 3pm....as the trusted weatherman says.

We are reshooting Tuesday through Friday this week in Hahira. We are booking appointments first come, first serve. We are shooting at 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm and 5:30pm each day.

We will shoot anyone who cannot make it during the week next Sunday.

Peace, Love & Runway...Rehearsal Reminder!

Hello AM&T,

We are so excited about the "Peace, Love & Runway" Fashion Show this Friday. The proceeds will benefit The Children's Advocacy Center of Lowndes County".

The rehearsal is Thursday from 5pm-8pm and is Mandatory! We understand a few will be late due to work schedules but please make every effort to be on time.

We need everyone to please turn in their ticket money Thursday. It was mandatory for the 5 tickets to be sold.

This is a really special fashion show for us and we hope you will enjoy it as well. It is will be different than other shows of the past.

There are Vendor Tables for purchase. If you know anyone who owns a business who would like to sell their items or advertise, the tables are only $25.00.

If you have not had a picture taken of your Outfit of Choice, please bring it tomorrow evening to the rehearsal.

Parents will need to be there for special announcements at the beginning and end of the rehearsal. Please make sure your children have something to eat before the rehearsal. :) Bring homework! You will have time to work on it in between practices.

I also want to thank you all for your support of AM&T and our staff. They have really worked so hard. It will be four weeks on Friday since the accident and I think my staff is truly amazing , and I have been so blessed with such wonderful students and parents. You all have been so sweet this entire four weeks! Only eight more to go! We can do this together!!
